The process of creating the perfect graphic design elements for you and your business may seem daunting, but it truly doesn’t have to be at all. The outline below summarizes the steps we will travel through together in the creation process.
Begin with the End
This is when we ask how you want your customers and potential customers to feel when they see your logo, or graphics. The process typically takes about an hour and can be done via phone, internet, or preferably, in person.
Decide on the Level
Are you a quality or quantity provider of product or service? Most people will say both, but we will go over a brief questionnaire that will help determine which end of the spectrum you fall on to best determine your “level” of design. Is there an educational process that must take place regarding your product, or is it already established? Are you first to market? The best value? The only one of a kind? These are all questions that need to be answered during this phase of discovery.
The Main Message
You may already have a tag line, or main product or service message. Maybe you haven’t even thought about it, and want to wait until the graphic design elements are completed. Or maybe you have several choices and need to decide on one that works for you. Regardless of where you might be in the message process, we will work to arrive at the main message, which is typically 3-5 words that will be used in your communications. We will need to have this in place before a design series is finalized, and it will make the rest of the marketing phase go much more smoothly.
The Design
This is where you get to relax, and we get to work. We will develop several options for your design to include color, size, design, border, copy, and delivery method. We will then sit down with you for a progress check and to either head back to the drawing board, or to the printer!
